Every purchase at our Book Fair did more than spark a love of reading — it directly supported our teachers and classrooms. A portion of every dollar raised goes right back to our school to provide books and learning resources used by our students every day.

Volunteer Opportunities:

Monday, September 28 — Book Fair Setup

9:00 AM–12:00 PM

Help us unpack books, organize displays, decorate, and get everything ready for our students.

Tuesday, September 29–Thursday, October 1 — Book Fair Volunteers

Volunteer shifts are available each day:

8:30–10:30 AM
10:30 AM–12:30 PM
12:30–2:30 PM

Volunteers will help students find books, keep displays organized, restock tables, assist with checkout, and help make the Book Fair a fun experience for everyone!

Help us break down displays, pack books and supplies, and get everything cleaned up and organized.

Thank you for supporting our Hicks students and staff! We couldn’t make events like the Book Fair happen without our wonderful parent volunteers.

🐺 Room Parents came together to review their roles and responsibilities, communication guidelines, important dates, classroom celebrations, teacher support, and ways to help make the school year special for our students and staff.

A big thank you to all of our Room Parent volunteers for giving your time and helping support our teachers and classrooms. We’re looking forward to a fantastic year! 💙

PTA General Meeting & Coffee and Bites with Principal Rehfuss

Our first PTA meeting was a success! Thank you to all of our Hicks families who joined us for Coffee & Bites with Principal Rehfuss and Michelle Crowley, our PTA President.
