Fall Festival is THIS FRIDAY!!!!

We can't wait to see you Friday night from 6pm to 9pm at our Hicks PTA Fall Festival!!!

Students will have a blast choosing from a 24’ climbing rock wall, premium gaming truck, Ninja Nation two-lane course, Creepy Critters reptile petting zoo, hockey puck shoot out in the Dallas Stars inflatable hockey cage, or dunking one of their favorite Hicks staff in the Dunk Booth! See the complete staff dunk lineup below along with a map of the event.

And don't forget to bid on our awesome Silent Auction items at https://hicks.cbo.io! Bidding runs through 10pm on Friday, 11/5. Bid for your student to join the 5th grade lock-in, for your kiddo to be principal for the day, or gift your favorite teacher a front row parking spot for a year! All proceeds come back to Hicks to fund school projects, curriculum needs, teacher grants, and more.

Last Minute Reminders for Fall Festival

All advance tickets purchased online BEFORE 11/2 are coming home in student take-home folders today along with the Ninja Nation red/white/blue wristband if the online waiver was signed and an orange line jumper wristband, if purchased. These wristbands must be worn at the festival in order to participate in the Ninja Nation course and/or to jump the ride/activity booth lines.

Any tickets purchased online or Ninja Nation waivers signed AFTER 11/2 will be available for pick up at the Fall Festival on Friday between 6pm and 9pm at the main ticket booth located at the front entrance of the school.

Additional tickets can be purchased on site at the Festival throughout the evening by credit card only. Also, physical Ninja Nation waivers will be available on site for parent signature if not done in advance. Both can be done at one of the two Ticket/Ninja Nation Waiver booths.

We're still looking for volunteers to help with Fall Festival Friday night. Hop over to Voly to sign up! We have four time slots available: 5pm-6pm, 5:45pm-7:30pm, 7:20pm-9:15pm, and 9pm-10pm.

PTA also needs some extra tables, coolers, pumpkins, and people to help gather these items. Let us know if we can borrow any of your items by clicking here!

There's still time to bring sweet treats for the Bake Sale at Friday's Fall Festival! Sign up here and drop off at the Hicks front office during school hours Thursday, 11/4, or Friday, 11/5.

LISD requires cleared background checks for all on-campus visitors. Register on Voly and submit your background check ASAP so you can sign up for volunteer opps, field trips, and general meetings. Be sure to become a fan of Hicks Elementary so our school opps appear in your feed first. (Note: It could take up to three weeks for your background check to clear.)
